We’ve just started enrollment for an exciting set of fitness classes aimed at expectant mums. We’re working with the ante-natal department of our local hospital, home to the maternity wing where many of you will be welcoming your children into the world.
We’ve found that many of our members are unsure about what’s safe to do during pregnancy, and we think that you’ll be surprised to learn that most activity is still fine, assuming it’s not too strenuous, in the early stages of your baby’s development.
There’s also the opportunity for ladies that are wanting to lose weight while they try to fall pregnant to join in too – on our Thursday evening sessions. The Tuesday afternoon classes will be limited to those that are pregnant already, and more geared towards tailored exercise in each trimester of pregnancy. Come and join in the fun, pedal, jog and dance along to the music on the radio in our popular classes as soon as next week!
